Back in 2018, DIY expanded further into European territory when it became media and marketing partner to Slovakia’s Pohoda Festival.
After a brilliant experience during our first year as partners to the festival – which is based at the country’s Trenčín Airport – DIY was then appointed marketing partner for Slovakia’s lead country activation at ESNS 2019, which it shared with its neighbours, the Czech Republic. To mark the occasion, we created a magazine for delegates to learn about the two countries’ music industry and breaking artists.
Following another successful year as media partners to Pohoda in 2019 – which featured performances from The 1975, Liam Gallagher and loads more – we hope to return to Slovakia to help support their next event, when it is safe and responsible to do so.
