We are delighted to be appointed as official media partner to the AIM awards 2021, taking place virtually on August 25th. Drawing on our credible expertise after working as official media partner to the Hyundai Mercury Prize for the last three years, we will be working with AIM to encourage our 1million+ audience to engage both with voting in the awards and tuning in to the evenings’ event.
The AIM Independent Awards looks to celebrate the incredible talent within the independent community. They’re ahead of the curve, spotting talent early with last year’s winners Arlo Parks & AJ Tracey were nominated for BRIT’s Awards this year.
With Arlo Parks leading with four nominations, other acts up for awards include Working Men’s Club, Tkay Maidza, Fontaines DC, Lava La Rue and ENNY, with this year also seeing both Bandcamp and Love Record Stores celebrated with the Indie Champion Award.
This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to work with AIM who align with our values of supporting new music perfectly, and allows us to continue to build our strengths as partners and supporters of music industry events hosted by professional industry institutional bodies, such as our partnerships with SXSW and Department of International Trade.
