For the past four years, DIY has had the pleasure of being media partner to the incredible Mad Cool Festival. Having first gotten involved with the huge Madrid festival back in 2017, our partnership has continued to flourish in the years since.
While our 2017 partnership aimed to promote the festival to our UK audience, in 2018 we collaborated even further. Ahead of the 2018 edition of the event, we worked together on the launch of Mad Cool Talent, a competition which saw new acts compete for the chance to play at the event.
2020 was also set to be a very special fourth year for the our partnership. Apart from the stellar line-up, they had teamed up with Iberia Express and chartered a Gatwick to Madrid flight just for festival goers, who would each receive a copy of DIY on their seat. Alas, the global pandemic sadly meant the postponement of the festival, but we can’t wait it to return.
