DIY kicks of 2023 festival partnership season with Wide Awake and The Great Escape

First off, DIY renews its partnership with Wide Awake for the second year

Returning to London’s Brockwell Park on 27th May, Wide Awake festival have announced the first wave of names for their 2023 edition.

Announced today, Gilla Band, Osees, Arooj Aftab, Sunset Rollercoaster, Ty SegallA Place To Bury Strangers, Erol Alkan and more have been confirmed to be performing, with even more names to be announced soon.

“There’s a feeling amongst us all at Wide Awake that the 2023 lineup is the most varied and interesting so far. Osees and Ty Segall are the types of catalysts that inspire a generation,” co-founder Keith Miller says. “We’re lucky enough to also have the next gen with Glass Beams, Estella and a whole cohort of brilliant new acts we know you’ll all become massive fans of. And A Place To Bury Strangers represent everything about DIY music and that ethic. Wide Awake evolved out of a warehouse festival they played and we cannot wait to have them back.”

Dinner Party to headline DIY TGE First Fifty stage at Moth Club

With a decade of DIY and TGE partnership upon us, Brighton’s The Great Escape is set to take place from 10th to 13th May next year, and they’re giving us a little taste of the magic we can expect with this year’s DIY TGE First Fifty night taking place on 15th November!

Eight exciting music showcases will be taking place across East London, and we’re joining in on the party, hosting a big DIY knees-up at Moth Club with The Dinner PartyNell Mescal and She’s In PartiesGrab your tickets for the show now.
