If you’ve yet to hear about The Last Dinner Party, honestly, where have you been?
The multi channel Live Nation campaign, brokered by agency Sold Out, went live across social, online, physical and digital print, to coincide with the announcement of the bands first DIY cover in the February 2024 edition of the magazine.
It’s not often that it feels as though the stars align and one band single-handedly sweep up all of new music’s accolades in one giddy flourish, but when it does happen, you know there’s something special afoot. Ever since they started out on London’s live circuit, offering up their hedonistic, theatrical wares to anyone lucky enough to get in, they’ve been on our radar as the Next Big Thing™, so it’s an absolute pleasure to welcome the quintet to our first cover of 2024 in celebration of their gorgeous debut.
The tour campaign will run for two weeks, with a five day presale and then pushed across DIY channels for the on sale period – expected to sell out in seconds – as the DIY editorial went straight to the band’s home page on Google search as soon as it went live.
DIY has also produced a celebratory poster of the band which is available for free for subscribers and purchasers of the magazine.
