For the past 10 years, DIY’s annual Hello… series in January has offered an opportunity for Neu-level bands to play to a busy crowd at a pivotal pre-festival time in the calendar. Historically taking place at the Old Blue Last, artists including Wolf Alice, Yard Act, Dream Wife and more have all played early shows as part of the series.
DIY’s Class of… event concludes the year with a showcase featuring artists taken from our annual tips issue. Attracting a wide variety of sponsors which have included Marshall, Super Bock and Estrella Galicia, alongside our yearly venue partner House of Vans, and education partner BIMM, whose students enjoy valuable work experience at the event. Past headliners have included Sports Team, Pale Waves and Do Nothing, with this year marking the first Class of 2022 UK tour, headlined by Yard Act.
Due to omnicrom the tour had to be postponed and rescheduled, but with the tour now announced again and sold out we can relive the highlights of the show as a taste of what is the come.
