JACKIE VENSON MAKES UK LIVE DEBUT AT DIY PRESENTS + VISIT AUSTIN SHOW
Not only have we partnered SXSW festival at Austin, TX, we went a step further teaming up with Visit Austin for a special gig at London’s Two Tribes Brewery, to promote the City as the US city of live music, aka the Live Music Capital of the World®. As part of the multi media and competition campaign across DIY channels, we flew over brilliant singer songwriter Jackie Venson from her home in Austin, to our side of the Atlantic for her first ever performance in the UK, to present the new face of emerging talent from the area.
Our relationship with the artist didn’t stop there as she then joined us at our stage at New Colossus festival in NYC, in partnership with her label, Big Indie records, giving exposure to UK artists en route to play with DIY at SXSW with local NYC guests.
