DIY appointed by Live Nation Spain to annual partnership for The Spanish Wave

The Spanish Wave programme until February 2023

The Spanish Wave, Live Nation Spain’s music export programme, launched its long term media and marketing partnership with DIY music at The Great Escape in Brighton in May this year.

Four of Spain’s emerging artists played and were announced across the DIY magazine media platform.

And a more in depth Q and A feature introduced one of the artists – Dora – to our audience as a Neu (new) band feature.

Ahead of her trip to The Great Escape to perform at The Spanish Wave showcase, we spoke to Madrid singer DORA

The intensive programme will rotate the artists and will take in 12 international showcases across 10 countries in 2022, culminating at ESNS 2023 where Spain is lead country. It is also being promoted in the DIY 2022 festival guide alongside other Spanish events such as Mad Cool, Mad Cool Sunset and the new Andalucia BIG conference and showcase in Malaga in September 2022.

Cesar Andion, PR & Talent, Live Nation Spain (Madrid): ”The Spanish Wave is an initiative  to support and discover the hottest young emerging Spanish talent and give it a voice through showcase festivals around the world.

The Live Nation Madrid project will introduce Spanish artists to international  markets, showcasing them in front of new audiences and industry, giving them the opportunity to build their following and establish business connections overseas

The Spanish Wave is a music export, artist services and PR platform that works hand in hand with private and public, domestic and international agencies, which together with media partner DIY Magazine look to obtain the best results abroad for these incredible new Spanish acts”
