DIY IRL kicks off first unrestricted gig with Signature Brew

After 18 months of on/off planning of live events and seated only restricted numbers, DIY IRL got it’s first full capacity show off the ground with the sponsorship of Signature Brew at their brewery stage in North London.

When you walked into that eerie silence that follows soundcheck and doors and realised there were no tables, it was a very special moment.

After our fab first all seated DIY IRL show with Katy J PearsonBull and Drug Store Romeos, we put on three equally strong new artists PixeyMolly Payton and Wooze as a triple headlined gig.

After 18 months of no live shows it was so important to get these young bands back onto the live stage, getting new music out live for the first time and gaining new fans (and earning money!).

If you’d like to support young artists at this important time with a DIY IRL show or series sponsorship please get in touch.

DIY has conducted its first user survey since lockdown was lifted (Sept 21), and the results are encouraging for live music:

87% spent regularly on live music pre pandemic

81% feel comfortable attending a live event in the next six months

71%  have made  plans to attend live music events in 2022

As we enter the last quarter of 2021 and enter 2022, we have a fantastic new line up of events and formats for brands to get involved in.
