Alongside being marketing and media partner to the event, as part of our artists development programme we co-curate exciting emerging artist stages alongside education programmes at showcase/conferences. One of the most longstanding of which has been The UK’s Great Escape, where many bands have made their career starts at DIY’s four days at Horatios venue on the end of Brighton Pier.
DIY also publishes an annual festival guide each Spring when fans are at their peak for buying tickets. Additional copies are made available for delegates at Brighton’s international music industry showcase The Great Escape in May.
DIY has also worked with the TGE team on one offs and curate unique content for individual shows such as Slaves playing a surprise show in the House of Horrors on Brighton Pier.
