The DIY Class of 2022 launch show has been sponsored by Super Bock – our exclusive beer partner, alongside Marshall Amps provided the backline and the BIMM Institute, whose students gained valuable work experience at the event. Through the campaign DIY curated unique content against their specific brief for use in the campaign and on their own channels.

At the sold out DIY Class of 2022 launch event at House of Vans, fans were able enjoy the behind the scenes fun that DIY artists had during the photoshoots for the December/January Class of 2022 edition of DIY Magazine via a muted wall projection and in-venue screens.

The night was rounded off with a lovely surprise presentation to all the artists by Super bock of a three Litre special edition bottle of their beer, with a special label for each artist.

About DIY Magazine

Founded in 2002, and launching our first print edition in 2011, DIY has spent the best part of this century digging deep into the best new music the UK and beyond has to offer. With everyone from breaking artists to bona fide legends gracing the cover over the years, we’ve flown around the world with The 1975, given Wolf Alice such an iconic gold glitter shoot they started selling it as merch, travelled to Nashville for an exclusive with Paramore and even sat down with a bloody Beatle.

Now into a new decade (having marked its 100th edition last autumn), DIY is also expanding by the day, partnering with festivals and brands across the world to put on live events, nurturing the next generation of music industry hopefuls with our DIY Education programme and continuing to expand our online and social media presence (1 million+ followers).

Its quality is asserted by being the only Portuguese beer to win 37 consecutive gold medals (42 in total) in the prestigious international competition Monde Selection de la Qualité and by being the best-selling Portuguese lager in the world.
